Examine the four angle diagrams and select them in order from smallest to largest. Once all four angles have been selected, submit your ranking to check your answer.
Each question presents four angles that are close in size. The diagrams may be rotated or shown with different ray lengths so that you must compare the actual angle openings rather than the overall position or size of each drawing.
A response is counted as correct only when all four angles are placed in the proper order. Your correct answers, incorrect answers, accuracy, and current streak are updated throughout the round.
Angle ranking is one of the spatial comparison skills tested in the Perceptual Ability Test portion of the Dental Admission Test. Students must compare several angles and arrange them from smallest to largest.
This free angle ranking tool provides randomized practice questions with immediate feedback. Each round contains 20 questions and can be completed on either a desktop computer or mobile device.
The length of an angle's rays does not determine the size of the angle. Rotations and different ray lengths can make two similar angles appear more different than they actually are. Focus on the amount of opening between the two rays.
Repeated angle comparison practice can help students recognize small differences more efficiently. Begin by concentrating on accuracy. As comparisons become easier, work toward making each ranking more quickly.
